Real Estate Market Update – Edmond, Deer Creek, OKC, Yukon and Mustang
No Fair! At least not this fall…When my boys were little, and they would exclaim “no fair!” I would often reply “The Fair’s in September”. It is one of my famous Dad-phrases in our house. Well this year has surprised us all with the state fair being canceled. For those interested, the Parade of Homes is still in session starting this weekend.
The real estate market has officially surpassed last year in terms of closed deals. For the first part of the year, new contracts were up, but closed deals stayed slightly behind 2019. The last 3 months, however, closing were up year-on-year by 12%. I am starting to see individual neighborhoods surge in home values in a way that is very positive for homeowners.
